webmaster's picture

Is it possible to open a Windows 2008 Srv local policy on a remote computer to change User Rights Assignment settings?. Oh Yes, It is possible, but not all configuration will be allowed to change from remote connection for example, you are not able to view the Security Policies however. We explain how to do without using remote desktop.

You can do it from a command line on the remote computer

gpedit.msc /gpcomputer:"computername"

I had to put the computername in quotes to make it work.
